Director:

Miguel Yilales (Caracas, 1993) studied Audiovisual Direction at the Catholic University of Chile, where he made the short film Residencia definitiva (2023) about a Venezuelan mother and son seeking asylum. With a solid background in directing and photography, Yilales opts for a hybrid aesthetic between documentary and fiction, integrating professional and natural actors, including Venezuelan actor Wilmer Lugo (La Guaira) and the young talent of Cristhofer Angulo. Ladrón de Motocicletas is his debut feature film.
